Course Goal / Objective

To inform about plant system and to learn herbaceous and woody information in general

Course Content

General information, Organography, root, stem, shoots, crust, leaf properties. The differences between Angiospermae (closed seed) and Gymnospermae (open seed), cone, seed, pollination, fertilization. Introducing the various organs of woody taxa (male and female flowers, pollination, fruit types) Introduction of nomenclature, Angiospermae and Gymnospermae taxa, important botanical features of class, family, genus and taxa which are living examples today, importance in terms of forestry and parking, Growing areas, some ecological desires. Species, Underwater Categories, Subtitles, Varieties, Species Categories, Genus, Familia, Names in Botany, Cultivar, Clone, First Species, Flora Zones in Turkey, Endemic and Relikt Plants, Turkey's Major Vegetation Types
