Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of the course is to review theories of information society and comprehend the historical development stages of information technologies.

Course Content

The concept of information, history of media and information technologies, fordism/post-fordism, discussions about modernity/post-modernity, network society are some of the subjects which will be covered throughout the course.
