Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to equip student-teachers of ELT with the necessary techniques and methods to teach communicative skills in an integrated way

Course Content

Techniques and methods to prepare lesson plans to teach communicative language skills in an integrated way; how to integrate reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in a lesson plan for especially adolescents and adult learners; how to integrate teaching grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation into the lesson plan.

LO04 Student-teachers will be able to plan for tasks that would enable students to learn and practice language in real life situations.
LO05 While teaching language skills in an integrated way, student-teachers will develop an awareness of the strategies that their students will need in learning.
