Course Goal / Objective

To teach the mechanics of sedimentary origin and mineralization occurring.

Course Content

Geochemical and physicochemical concepts of ore deposits/ Ores in sedimentary/ Residual deposits/ Oxidation and sementation ores/ Plaser deposits/ Biochemical sedimentary iron and manganese deposits/ Evaporation series.

LO11 Explanation of these mineral deposits, with examples from Turkey and the world
LO12 Volcanic sedimentary deposite (Kuruko-Cyprus-type), sedimentary deposite, Chemical Residue deposite, placer deposits, Chemical sedimentary deposite, supergene deposite, Chemical and biochemical Deposits by means of the formation of Fe and Mn, Pb-Zn deposits of carbonate environments, Coal Oil shale in the cu deposits, metamorphism and Ore Deposits
