Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to explain the biological values of our country to Environmental Engineers and to ensure that nature conservation awareness is fully settled in them. To ensure that the Environmental Engineer fully understands that he works on technologies that minimize the impact of human on nature and to increase his ethical values, to create an effective infrastructure and resource that will help in the decision-making process in EIA processes.

Course Content

Key Biodiversity Area (KBA)- What is the KBA approach, KBA criteria, Turkey's biogeography and natural habitats, the Mediterranean Coast, Southeastern Anatolia Region, the KBA Eastern Anatolia Region, Black Sea Region, Marmara Region, Aegean Coast, internal Anatolian Region KBA.
