Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable the students to recognize the principles of surveying, to measure the horizontal distance by simple and advanced surveying equipments, to prepare location plans, to calculate the field area, to measure vertical distances, to derive the topographic profiles, and to interpret topographic maps. With this course, students are required to land surveying vocation will be able to apply the techniques and basic accounts.
Course Content
Units of measurement, measurement of the horizontal distance by simple surveying equipments, (distance measurement, right angles, location plans), planimeter, area calculations, height measurement byleveling, profile and surface leveling, drawing and interpreting of topographical maps.
