Course Goal / Objective
Upon successful completion of this course, Introduce to the basic principles and applications of iron production, steel making processes, Understand the basic principles and applications casting, powder metalurgy and metal working processes Calculate and select basic process parameters related to these manufacturing processes.
Course Content
To explain the basic principles of iron production and steel making processes, different casting methods, riser, core and pattern, Select an appropriate manufacturing process according to specific requirements, casting defects.
