Course Goal / Objective
Raw materials, are available and make it into an income generating products. For these conversions, to gain fundamental knowledge of the chemical and physical processes.
Course Content
Chemical and physical basic processes, Water purification and environmental pollution control, Energy, fuels, airconditioning and refrigeration, Coal chemicals, Gaseous fuels, Industrial gases, Industrial carbon, Ceramic industries, Portland cement, calcium and magnesium compounds, Glass industries, Chlor-alkali industries, Phosphorus industries, Sulfuric acid production theoretical course is taught through examples and applications. Industries that produce food and by-products, Smell, taste and flavor substances and food additives, Oils and fats, waxes, Soap and detergents, Sugar and starch industries Fermentation industries, Wood chemical substances, Pulp and paper industries, Plastic industries, Synthetic fiber and film industries, Rubber industries, Petroleum refining, Petrochemical Materials Intermediates, dyestuffs and applications, Pharmaceutical industries theoretical course is taught through examples and applications.
