Course Goal / Objective
Obtaining basic information about maps, map interpretation and preparing relevant maps
Course Content
The contents of thiscourse coversintroduction to the course, course qualificationsand tools, shape and size of the earth, unitsand itsconversions, scale, the classification of maps, reading of maps, fundamentalcalculations on the plane, map projections, UTM projection and system, national map index, map applications using GPS navigation.
