Course Goal / Objective
The main arguments against and against the use of English textbooks; the relationship between method, ideology and textbook author; the format for the choice of course content and materials: linguistic competence, ease of use, cultural content, appropriateness of communicative interaction and language use, phrase-based authentic, real-world context-based tools that help students interact with each other and with the teacher; adapting and developing materials for language teaching, tailoring textbook materials to specific learning needs and teaching environments
Course Content
Theories and principles of course content and equipment design in English language teaching (for example: selection, adaptation, development and evaluation of content and equipment in English language teaching) and basic views that are parties and opposed to the use of English textbooks; the relationship between method, ideology and textbook author; the format for the choice of course content and materials: linguistic competence, ease of use, cultural content, appropriateness and language use of communicative interaction, phrase-based authentic, real-world context-based tools that help students interact with each other and with the teacher; adaptation and development of materials for language teaching, adaptation of textbook materials according to specific learning needs and teaching environments, English teacher candidates to design their own teaching materials and aids according to the appropriate method, student level, needs and the current school environment; English content and equipment evaluation, language materials related to the use of the English coursebook in the ELT classroom, and current IDE methods on textbook evaluation criteria and content and equipment design.
