Course Goal / Objective
The objective of this course is to provide students with a basic knowledge on methods for the impact evaluation of policies and programs. The course, also aims to provide students with a variety of econometric techniques in impact evaluation as well as practical skills to assess causality and impact.
Course Content
The course covers impact evaluation theory basic concepts, experimental design and basic statistics, as well as methods randomization, difference-in-difference, regression discontinuity, and propensity score matching.
