Course Goal / Objective
It is the understanding of the stages of creating a collection depending on the concept of fashion. Creating woven fabric designs for clothing and home textiles to be created in line with current trends, making prototype design applications.
Course Content
Preparing storyboards, design sketches and colorways based on fashion and textile trends for apparel and home textiles. Creating fabric collections and weaving them on armured loom using overshot weaves.
Course Precondition
The course has no prerequisites. However, a student who has not taken/failed the course on Fabric Construction will have difficulty in succeeding in this course.
