Course Goal / Objective
Students learn the molecular basis and control of the physiological functions of the organism; the biochemical basis of diseases and the interpretation of related biochemical laboratory findings. At the end of the course, students' physiological functions and supervision of the organism; biochemical bases of diseases and the interpretation of related biochemical laboratory findings.
Course Content
Introduction to biochemical analysis, circulatory system biochemistry, metabolism of bilirubin, jaundice and types, liver functions and related disorders; immune system, disorders and related biochemical diagnostic methods; blood biochemistry, blood clotting, hematological diseases; digestive system biochemistry; related metabolic diseases and biochemical diagnostic methods; metabolic disorders related to digestion and lipids of lipids and phospholipids; kidney structure, functions, measurement of renal function, renal failure and related laboratory findings, renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, hypertension, coronary heart diseases and related biochemical analyzes; endocrine system and related diseases; diabetes and its complications; cancer biochemistry.
