Course Goal / Objective

The scope of this course is to teach organic chemistry that provide contributions for pharmaceutical chemistry course in pharmacy education.

Course Content

Basic concepts in organic chemistry, functional groups in organic molecules, alkanes, alkenes, alkynes and their reactions, aliphatic ring structures and isomers, stereochemistry, bioactive chiral compounds, alkyl halides, alcohols, thiols, ethers, epoxides, sulfides, organic reactions and mechanism of synthesis.
