Course Goal / Objective
To teach basic computer usage and computer infrastructure and working principles. Definition, history, development and working principles of computers. Hardware and software. Basic terms and concepts. Introduction to operating systems. System protection and viruses. Use of word processing software (Word). Use of electronic spreadsheets (Excel). Use of presentation preparation programs (Powerpoint). Using data communication and information networks. Web and information browsing systems. Do research on the internet. Spreading information via the Internet.
