Course Goal / Objective
To provide a systematic and comprehensive theoretical information about the properties of matter and measurement and to improve the students' ability to think about the basic concepts of chemistry and to make this knowledge applicable in proffession.
Course Content
Basic terms and unit systems in chemistry, Classification and properties of matter, Atomic structure and periodic table and periodic properties, Atomic masses and mole concept, Chemical formulas and calculations, solutions, chemical reactions in solutions and their properties.
