Course Goal / Objective
Giving students an ability to define air, climate and climate components, -information about the meteorological events to improve the quality and quantity of crop and animal production, - information about meteorological events which has negative effect on agricultural production and the preventive measures.
Course Content
Definitions on weather, climate and climate factors. Atmosphere and its properties, energy balance, temperatures, radiation, precipitation, air pressure, evaporation and humidity, wind types; measurement techniques and methods of meteorological parameters; and climate in Turkey and global climate changes and its effects on agricultural production and water resources.
