Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to enable students to recognize all conductor lines and equipment from the generation of electricity to the final consumption device, to understand the maintenance procedures, to learn the legal regulations, to draw the electrical interior facilities project, to learn the precautions taken against the danger of loss of life and fire that may be caused by electrical energy.
Course Content
Within the scope of this course; Basic concepts of electrical network and facilities, low Voltage network types and protection measures, electrical installation technology and protection measures; selection of cable type and cross-section, network installation types; grounding techniques, laws and regulations regarding electrical network facilities, drawing schematics used in electrical projects, elements used in electrical installations and their schematic counterparts; The basic applications related to the electrical installation and the security measures of the established network will be discussed.
