Course Goal / Objective
Understanding the main materials and landforms from which soils are formed is to understand the natural structure of the earth. Understanding the mineralogical and chemical structure of the rocks commonly found in the earth, explaining the features and formations of geomorphological forces and especially the landforms formed by rivers.
Course Content
Earth formation, geological timeline, rock types, volcanic rocks, types of igneous rocks and sedimentary rocks, mineralogical composition and properties, geomorphological forces, geological structure, mass movements, landforms formed by streams, landforms formed by winds, landforms formed on coasts, karstic landforms.
