Course Goal / Objective
In this course, students will be aware of the educational and developmental value of the game in early childhood, develop the ability to use the game as an effective teaching method in recognizing and evaluating the child, and learn to plan and implement games correctly; It is aimed to introduce the students to educational music, to create the knowledge that will manage the interest and ability of children in art and music, and to gain behaviors that will manage the process related to music education.
Course Content
Definition of the game, the importance of the game, the effect of the game on the development of the child, old children's games, game theories, the social role of the game, the factors affecting the game, planning the game, playing with the individuals who need special education, playgrounds, game tools, what is music, the importance of music in the preschool period. basic components, basic music information, the concept of rhythm in music, music genres and forms in Turkey and in the world, the role of music in education, music in developing creativity, the use of music in other activities, different teaching techniques.
