Course Goal / Objective

Classification of glasses used in architecture is the examination of glasses used in architecture in terms of lighting.

Course Content

Definition and properties of glass as building material, used in architecture classification of glasses (normal glass, surface coated glass, safety glasses, glass bricks, layered glass etc.), the use of glass-like materials in architectural design (plexigals, polycarbonate etc.)
