Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge and skills on the structure and working logic of programmable controllers, PLC programming with ladder diagram, interpreting existing programs and interpreting a given problem and developing a solution with PLC programming.
Course Content
Introduction to programmable controllers, basic units of PLCs, logic operations, introduction to programming, ladder diagram commands and ladder diagram programming, set-reset commands, timer-counter applications, comparison commands, designing automation systems using PLC
