Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable the art education teacher candidates to recognize the features of measurement tools used in education, to develop their awareness, knowledge and skills about the use of these tools, and to make them adopt the issues that should be taken into consideration in evaluating student success.
Course Content
This course includes measurement tools used in education and their properties; It includes information about tools based on traditional approaches, written exams, quizzes, true-false type tests, multiple choice tests, matching tests, oral exams. Tools for getting to know students in multiple ways, observation, interview, performance evaluation, student product file, research papers, research projects, peer evaluation, self-evaluation, attitude scales; Issues to be considered in the evaluation of student success; It also covers information on assessment of learning outcomes and grading.
