Course Goal / Objective
In the learning process, it is aimed to gain the skills of designing, selecting, developing and applying instructional technologies and materials in accordance with theoretical foundations and instructional purposes.
Course Content
Basic concepts, approaches, theories, models related to instructional technology: ADDIE, Mayer's Cognitive Model in Multimedia Learning, Gagne model etc., General visual design principles., Material development, selection and evaluation based on instructional design theoretical constructs. Material selection and development for different situations and instructional conditions and establishing balance among instructional components. Features of various teaching materials, developing technologies, learning platforms: their place in the instructional process, their appropriate use and effects.
