Course Goal / Objective

Students will review of corpus-oriented methods and assess and harness software tools to be able to explore and manipulate actual language data as supports in the context of discovery learning. The course also aims to help the student gain insight into how the kind of information which can only be obtained from a corpus, and how this information can be of great value to foreign language learners and teachers.

Course Content

The course focuses on the use of variety of written and spoken corpora available with the pedagogic approaches in the classroom.
