Course Goal / Objective

To understand 16th and 17th centuries the general characteristics of Ottoman Turkish, goes beyond the classical grammar information about Ottoman Turkish

Course Content

The OttomanTurkish in the history of Turkish language, Ottoman Turkish term, the periods of Ottoman Turkish, transcriptions of the texts, the Latin letters of grammar books and dictionaries, 16th century Turkish, 17th century Turkish and the Travel of Evliya Çelebi, the first artificial language in the history of the Turkish language: Balaibalan
