Course Goal / Objective

By this course, students will learn the concepts related to conflict and war correctly, and gain the skills to identify and solve problems in the field. They will become competent in using databases and conducting research with quantitative methods. With this course, they will gain the skills to comprehend, define and analyze international, regional and local conflicts and wars.

Course Content

Since the texts, which include the approaches, theories and ideas that lay the foundations of international relations and enable the development of the discipline, are learned with references from secondary sources at the undergraduate level, this course will go down to the foundation of knowledge and read/examine the primary sources. In this way, it will be possible to study the main books that shape the discipline in depth and in detail.
