Course Goal / Objective
Forensic geology uses rocks, minerals, fossils, soils, and a variety of geochemical techniques to provide physical evidence in criminal investigations and trials.
Course Content
Forensic Geology includes, Geologic Science, Geologic Methodology, geomorphology, rock types, soils, surface and ground water, evidence collection and preservation, buried Evidence and Clandestine Gravesites, anomaly surveys of topography and soil profiles, Materials Identification, Sampling, Analysis, interpretation, report
