Course Goal / Objective
To provide information on genetic diversity in horticultural crops and techniques for assessing and analyzing existing genetic diversity.
Course Content
Distributions of horticultural crops in the world and in our country, role of germplasm, genetic diversity and their usage in plant breeding, characterization of genetic diversity, agro-morphological characters used to determine genetic diversity, multivariate analyzes such as principal components and clustering and evaluation of these analyzes in package programs with sampling
