Course Goal / Objective
New biotechnological applications in industry
Course Content
History of industrial biotechnology, Industrial system biology, Fermentation technology, Directed evolution of industrial biocatalysts, Industrial production of enzymes, Nanobiotechnology, Downstream processes in industrial biotechnology, Industrial biotechnological applications in chemical and chemical industry, Industrial biotechnological applications in food and feed industry, Industrial biotechnology in paper and pulp applications, industrial biotechnological applications in the paper and pulp sector, Biofuels (production and applications) will be covered.
