Course Goal / Objective

Microorganisms in aquatic ecosystems and artificial systems and their effects on human health will be examined.

Course Content

Aquatic environment, Roles of microorganisms in the aquatic environment, Biofilm and ecological surfaces, Indicators of water pollution, Life of microorganisms in the aquatic environment, Waterborne diseases, The role of microorganisms in water purification will be covered.
