Course Goal / Objective
To teach dosimetry systems, dosimetric measurement methods and dose calculations.
Course Content
Dosimetry, Radiation dosimeters (TLD and OSLD), Ionizing radiation, Non-ionizing radiation, Radiation quantities and units, Interaction of radiation with matter, Dosimetry systems and their properties, Calibrating dosimeters, Calibrating measuring instruments, Procedures for calibration, Measurement calibrations, Equivalent dose calculations, Error calculations.
