Course Goal / Objective
The main purpose of this course is to learn how to solve the mass, energy, entropy and exergy balance equations encountered in the design of thermal systems by means of an equation solver software.
Course Content
Introduction to thermal systems, introduction to programming languages, introduction to equation solver software, review of fundamentals (thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics), modelling of thermal systems, solution of problems with programming, case studies.
Course Precondition
To have a basic knowledge on thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and programming languages

Lecture notes are distributed to students on a weekly basis.
