Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the general properties of groups and certain special groups to the students.

Course Content

In this course the definitions of group and subgroup, general properties of groups, group homomorphisms, finitely generated groups, nilpotent and solvable groups and certain special groups are described.
