Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to understand the food consumption models in the world, the relationship between models and agricultural production, the change in food consumption patterns and the factors affecting this change, and the importance of the results for the country's economy.
Course Content
Within the scope of this course, the cultural systems seen in the agricultural production sector in the world, the possible effects of economic problems on the change of the cultural system, the relationship between agricultural policies and the culture system, production systems, extensive, labor-intensive, input-intensive production systems and agricultural operating systems will be examined. The structure and diversity of agricultural production systems, the factors affecting the production system, the analysis of the production system in important products, the relations between the environment and the production system, the transition from the traditional production system to the modern production systems, the socio-economic factors affecting the production system, the socio-economic effects of the agricultural techniques will be examined.
