Course Goal / Objective
Transfer of current technologies used in Animal Shelters
Course Content
1. General information about animal production, the situation in our country. General situation of livestock enterprises, their problems and solutions 2 Structure and characteristics of livestock enterprises. Types of animal shelters. 3 Animal shelters planning, structural features. Mechanization systems used in animal shelters. 4 Ventilation systems applied in animal shelters, their properties. Cooling systems and their properties applied in animal shelters. 5 Heating systems applied in animal shelters. 6 Lighting systems applied in animal shelters. Drinkers and feeders. 7 Fertilizer mechanization. 8 Calculation of ventilation capacity in poultry farming. 8 Calculation of ventilation capacity in poultry farming. 9 Cooling methods applied in poultry houses. Introduction of evaporative cooling system. 10 Ventilation and cooling systems used in small and cattle breeding. 11 Manure cleaning systems and harmful gases in the shelter. 12 Project design of ventilation, cooling, heating, manure removal systems for poultry houses. 13 Designing ventilation, cooling, heating, manure removal systems for cattle shelters 14. Electronic tracking of situations such as; disease, regurgitation, movement, etc. in sheep and cattle.
