Course Goal / Objective
To make students understand the importance of microbial nitrogen cycle in terms of fertilization and healthy nutrition of plants and to enable them to transfer this knowledge to practice.
Course Content
General N cycle in soil-plant-atmosphere system, types of mineralization and its measurement, nitrification measurement and nitrification inhibitors, denitrification types and gas chromatographic means, N-min analysis.
