Course Goal / Objective

Learning the fluorescence imaging techniques in the cell and perform fluorescence imaging in the cell.

Course Content

Fluorescence and its physics principles. Chemical fluorescence probes and their cellular usages. Measurement of the basic ions with the fluorescent techniques in the cells Dynamic measurement of the cellular signalling pathways with fluorescent probes. Biological fluorescent probes and their cellular usages. Other techniques; FRET, Fluorescent life time microscopes and immunofluorescent techniques.
