Course Goal / Objective

Defines and comprehends the basic information about neuromediators in the central nervous system, impulse transmission, events that play a role in the modulation of impulse transmission. Classifies drugs that affect the central nervous system. Explains and compares the mechanism of action, side effects, contraindications and interactions of drugs used in the central nervous system.
