Course Goal / Objective

The scope of this course is to teach organic chemistry that provide contributions for pharmaceutical chemistry course in pharmacy education.

Course Content

Aromatics and aromatic heterocyclic compounds, their properties and reactions, aldehydes and ketones, their properties, synthesis and reactions, carboxylic acid and its derivatives; esters, amides, acid anhydrides, acyl halides and nitriles, and their properties and reactions, amines, bioorganic molecules such as carbohydrates, amino acids, nucleic acids and lipids, their structures and properties
