Course Goal / Objective

The scope of this course is to teach the drug development and drug active substance synthesis strategies

Course Content

Drug Development, Molecular Modeling in Drug Design, Computer Aided Drug Design (CADDs), In the development of new drug molecules; Combinatorial chemistry, High throughput screening (HTS) and Quantitative structure activity relationship (QSAR), Organic synthesis strategies, synthetic methods for drug active substance, Determination of the lead compound, Synthesis of analogues and Chemical modification, Semi synthetic strategies, biosynthesis and Full synthesis
