Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed that the student will have the static knowledge necessary for the design of the building elements and thus gain the ability to make a static project for any building.
Course Content
Basic principles of statics, force and properties of force, force system in plane, separation of force into components, finding resultant force, concept of moment, types of loads on the structure, friction, equilibrium conditions, center of gravity and support types
