Course Goal / Objective
With this course, the student understands what isostatic carrier systems are and how to calculate the loads acting on these systems and the support reaction.
Course Content
Isostatic Beams: Loads acting on building elements and beam types, Calculation of support reactions in beams, Isostatic plane frames: Plane frame and its types, Calculation of support responses in the frame, Calculation of bar forces in truss beams
