Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to gain proficiency in the behavior principles of the materials that make up the reinforced concrete and the calculation techniques related to reinforced concrete.

Definition of reinforced concrete and symbols, Application areas, advantages and disadvantages of reinforced concrete, Regulations and standards for reinforced concrete structures, Materials that make up reinforced concrete, properties of concrete and reinforcement, Selection of carrier system, Foundation types (Single foundation selection principles, calculations and detail drawings), Foundation types ( Continuous basic selection principles, calculations and detail drawings), Foundation types (Rat foundation selection principles, calculations and detail drawings), Loads acting on structures, Section Calculations (Normal force, bending moment, shear force, torsion moment effect), Columns, reinforced concrete of columns calculations, Beams, reinforced concrete calculations of beams, Slabs, reinforced concrete calculations of floors, Shear walls and stairs, curtain walls and reinforced concrete calculations of stairs
