Course Goal / Objective
It is to bring awareness and competence to reveal the possible risks of employees and responsible persons in waste control practices in workplaces and to take necessary precautions.
Course Content
This lecture presents an overview of waste management and control strategies at work places while focusing on occupational health and safety. The major and minor risks associated with waste handling are critically reviewed and classified. The severity of risks is also discussed. Safe management and control strategies for wastes are defined.
