Course Goal / Objective
The course aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills about the main components, working principles and structures of electric and hybrid vehicles.
Course Content
History of electric and hybrid vehicles, Structure of typical electric vehicles, Basic electric principles, Comparison of electric vehicles and combustion engine vehicles, Batteries in electric vehicles, Battery charging systems, Electric vehicle charging modes and connector types, Electric motor types and propulsion system, Hybrid vehicles, Hybrid vehicle types, Batteries in hybrid vehicles, Power transmission systems in hybrid vehicles, Fuel cell systems
