Course Goal / Objective

To teach the physical theories of high temperature (HTc) superconductivity used in today's technology

Course Content

Introduction to conductivity and its mechanism, Examination of the relationship between superior conductivity and superconductivity, Origin of Superconductivity, Meissner Effect, 1. and 2. type superconductors, Electrical and Magnetic properties of superconductors, Flux quantization and Vortex status, Critical state models, thermodynamics of superconducting transition, superconductivity teory, Josephson junction and tunneling, DC/AC Josephson Junction
