Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed that the students learn the basics of psychopharmacology and the pharmacokinetics, mechanisms of action, pharmacological effects, abuses of psychoactive substances that are of legal importance.
Course Content
Central nervous system neurotransmitters, receptors, basic principles in psychopharmacology, forensic drugs, stimulants, classification of psychoactive substances, mechanisms of action of psychoactive substances, alcohols, stimulants, hallucinogens, cannabinoids, opioids pharmacokinetic properties, mechanisms of action, pharmacological effects and abuse of psychoactive substances, interactions of abuse
