Course Goal / Objective

At the end of this course, the students will have knowledge about the mechanisms of toxic effects by drugs and other chemicals, toxicokinetics and toxicodiynamics, types of therapeutic drug toxicity and poisoning with drugs.

Course Content

Pharmacological classification of toxic effects, drug allergy, hypersensitivity or hypersensitivity reactions, reactions due to idiosyncrasy and genetic differences
