Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to ensure that they have knowledge about model building and experimental design using biotechnological techniques, to convey the concepts of animal use ethics, 3R principles and animal welfare to researchers, and to teach physiological basics about the animal species they will use in their research.

Course Content

Design of animal experiments using biotechnological techniques, experimental design strategies, physiological basics about model organisms, measuring and evaluating physiological parameters, animal behavior, welfare, 3R principles and ethical rules.
